Usually, they'll be located near an electrical plug so you can try it out before you take it home. This buying strategy can help you obtain a really great deal on a high quality machine.

If you can play it at right at the shop, fair, or where ever you find it. If the request is rejected, this might indicate something wrong with the machine.

Another good place to find pinball machines is websites devoted to selling them online. You can buy them outright, or through online auction sites. The benefit of buying them this way includes potential bargains, opportunities for research, and opportunities to talk to the seller directly about the item's features, or searching easily for one that has the features you want. Downsides include inability to try out the machine firsthand and potential shipping charges. Also, be sure to ask about the seller's return policy, or you may find yourself stuck with a pinball machine you didn't actually want or one that does not work.
